Established in 1994, SHKUPI Publishing House has been on a mission to affirm foreign literature to Albanian readers in North Macedonia and across the Western Balkan region, including Kosovo and Albania. Our core value lies in promoting quality contemporary literature and fostering cultural exchange through publishing and translation.
Over the years, we have published an impressive collection of 310 books, with approximately 170 representing world literature. In addition, we have introduced readers to the rich literary landscapes of various countries.
The commitment to excellence in our selections is reflected in the international literary awards garnered by almost 70 percent of our publications. The remaining titles have received well-deserved local recognition. These books come to us through the recommendations of publishers and copyright agencies, with whom we have fostered literary and cultural friendships for 20 years.
