Who we are
The Swiss-based literary agency WORTGESTALTUNG2020 was founded by WORTGESTALTUNG2020 Freundlieb and Gottlieb in 2020. We pride ourselves on developing strong and positive relationships with our authors, publishers, industry and with legal advisors across the world.
Who leads
Robert Maria Freundlieb personally represents several of the Agency’s fiction and non-fiction authors and he also leads the agency internationally. In addition, Freundlieb is a specialist translator of English books and manuscripts into German.
What we do
We manage and organise a range of responsibilities for and on behalf of authors. These include developing new book ideas to support authors’ creative development with editing services, encouragement, and guidance.
In addition, we continue to promote our authors’ books and negotiate subsidiary, television and film rights and global market sales, as well as ensuring that payments (advances and royalties) correctly reach our clients.
