The agency Poppenhusen is a literature agency and represents the rights of numerous successful authors from the fields of fiction, non-fiction, and children's and young people's books. We have been looking after our clients since 2003 and emerged from Piper & Poppenhusen GbR.
We primarily represent German-speaking authors. In the interest of the authors, we take over all of their business dealings with the publishers. Our activities range from the offer to contract negotiations to checking the accounts and also include the exploitation of ancillary rights (translation, film, television, stage, radio, etc.). In many cases, the agency accompanies authors in their work, supports them in the development of their book projects and searches for a suitable publisher.
We also act as a co-agency for publishers and agencies from English-speaking countries.
